What Matters is a guest opinion column written by a different alumnus or alumna every other month. It celebrates the wide diversity of accomplishments and interests of MIT alumni and encourages them to take part in a virtual community on the web.

If you are a graduate of MIT and have an idea, opinion, or experience that you think would make a good column, please write to us at whatmatters@mit.edu. Topics should be of interest to a general alumni community, and can range from professional or technical interests to personal milestones.
