Alumna Profile: Meet the Alumni Association's New President
Toni Schuman '58

Toni Schuman '58 is a pioneer. When she came to MIT as a student, there were a total of 60 undergraduate women on campus and only 16 in her class. And when she discovered her future in computers, there were few programmers and no such thing as computer science.



MIT's Oldest Alumnus Dies
Charles Yardley Chittick '22

Charles Yardley Chittick '22, who was celebrated as MIT's oldest alum at the June 2008 Technology Day Luncheon, died at the age of 107 on Friday, July 18th. Read a description of his life or enjoy photos from his fraternity events.

Sherwin Greenblatt '62, SM '64, director of the MIT Venture Mentoring Service, has agreed to serve as the interim executive vice president and CEO of the association while a search is conducted to fill the position.
